Methods of cooking Meat:
Smoking: Hang the meat over fire to cure it
Boiling: Broth can be used as well, add other wild edibles
Curing: The sun or by hanging over a fire
Stewing: Slowly cook in water till tender
Frying: If you have animal fat or oil from plants
Baking: using dry heat in a mud oven
Braising: Combination of steaming and roasting
Steaming: place above boiling water
Grilling: cook quickly over red hot coals
Roasting: add a little fat and cook in container
